This is the 4th year that PALS has had the pleasure of awarding the Teacher Assistance Grant.  We would like to thank everyone who applied for the PALS Teacher Assistance Grant.

The grant applications were informative in that many of the requests were very similar. We see this as an endorsement of certain technologies which successfully improve our children's participation in the classroom. Every application we received was worthy of the PALS grant. We only wish we could present this award to everyone that submitted an application.

This year's PALS Teacher Assistance Grant is awarded to Marybeth Dixon, Educational Support in the Math Department at the Fox Chapel High School, who will be using the grant to purchase math manipulatives that will provide a model for multi-step algebra equations. Thank you Ms. Dixon for the excellent work you do.

We are extremely fortunate in the Fox Chapel School District to have so many inspired and dedicated educators sharing their talents and creativity with our children. Thank you again.  

We look forward to your participaion when PALS offers the grant again in the Fall of 2010. The application form will be distributed to all schools and will also be available on the Fox Chapel Area School District website. We encourage all classroom and support educators to apply.
