“Sharing our I.E.P.’s”
Year after year, parents tell us that this is one of the most informative meetings we offer. Bring your child’s I.E.P. and we will break into groups and discuss the details which we feel are most useful and critical to our children’s success in the classroom. Often parents will learn of an element in one I.E.P. that could become a meaningful tool for their own child. Our confidential discussions that evening are intended to give parents more tools to enter into more productive I.E.P. meetings that result in clear, well written and measurable I.E.P. goals for their child.
PALS’ mission is to educate parents, giving them the tools to help their children succeed in the classroom. It is our goal that parents, teachers, and school administrators work together to give children with learning differences the best possible opportunities for success in school and in life.
